We are happy that we got in total 6 papers accepted in two interesting conferences, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education and the International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies. All six papers addressed topics within the field of AI for Education.
Happy to announce that we were granted a four-year project (7 MSEK) by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenbergs foundation to explore how AI can be used to support young children’s learning.

In October a third Ph.D. student, Robert Hegestedt, will join the learning analytics and AI for education group. Robert will focus on data-driven school development in compulsory school. Welcome!
Two new PhD students: Yongchao Wu and Xiu Li, have joined the research group. Both of them will focus on AI in education. Yongchao have a NLP background, and Xiu Li a background in Data Science.
